My name is Gianna Davis, and I’ve spent years in Product Marketing for global tech companies. I’ve seen companies rush to innovate, often without considering long-term consequences. I am excited by the opportunities AI brings, but also apprehensive about its impact on work in the AI era.
That’s why I created this blog.
To examine how AI is fundamentally transforming marketing—highlighting both the promise and the challenges — so we can understand exactly what it means for us as marketers. Cutting through the proverbial word salad of AI buzzwords and jargon, to explore the real questions we are all asking.
What parts of our roles are evolving?
What parts are irreplaceable?
Where does marketing strategy fit when AI systems can generate outputs faster than we can think?
Because, fundamentally, for better or worse, the introduction of AI into our workflows is forcing us to redefine what good marketing is. Separating the human elements from the machine outputs and forging ahead towards our next level of greatness.
Through this blog, I want to create discussion and engagement around topics such as:

How roles and skill sets are evolving
Ethical considerations and brand responsibility
How marketers can use AI to elevate strategy and creativity rather than dilute it
My belief is simple: AI will not replace great marketers. But great marketers who learn to work with AI will replace those who don’t.
